Doug and I have always loved to travel. We started snorkeling in the early 1980s in the Florida Keys and fell in love with it. When we became certified divers in 1993, we loved taking underwater photographs to show family, friends and co-workers what is under the sea. There is an amazing variety of beautiful, colorful life in the ocean and we try to capture that on film. Capturing the sun or showing sunlight while underwater is also very intriguing to us. All of our photographs have been taken while scuba diving at various locations in the Caribbean, Bahamas or Florida Keys. We use a Nikonos underwater film camera. Underwater photography is very challenging but is also very enjoyable. We have logged over 500 dives, all with a camera and always find something new and interesting in the ocean.
